Quarries

GEM has been involved in quarrying, contract mining and land care management for more than 50 years throughout South-East, South Australia and Western Victoria, with principal sites at Telfords (SA) and Martes (SA). GEM operates a total of 16 quarries, 2 bluestone quarries, 5 sand pits and 9 other quarries that specialise in type A fill and limestone.

All on-site products conform to rigid specifications monitored before, during and after construction under NATA fully independent accredited procedures.

At all times, we work harmoniously with all parties to negate and minimise noise and particle emissions from our quarry operations, and apply land care solutions and revegetation programs whenever the need arises in all operations.
