About Us

On behalf of all management and personnel it is our pleasure to welcome you to Gambier Earth Movers Pty Ltd (GEM).

Since first established in 1959 we have grown exponentially and despite the ups and downs experience along the way, we continue our market leader position within the industry re-defining the boundaries of construction excellence and customer service satisfaction. Gambier Earth Movers employs over one hundred people in the work force to service all clients.

Our construction operations include driveways to highways, special projects, quarrying activities and general earthmoving services throughout Southern, South Australia and Western Victoria.

GEM operates the only 'hotmix' emulsion plant in the southern region, providing for a range of road pavement and driveway sealing applications.

Our company owned truck fleet which is fully maintained in GEM's own workshop, caters for bulk haulage, heavy and specialized equipment needs and complies with industry best practice standards.
