14 kilometres south of Mount Gambier, on the Riddoch Highway (heading towards Port MacDonnell) rises the cone of the Mount Schank volcano towering above the surrounding landscape.

Located on the western side of the crater lies the operations site of Mount Schank Metals.

Geological analysis of the Mount Schank stone indicates an olivine basalt of high purity with no secondary mineral content.

Mount Schank Metals production of crushed rocks, screenings and sands are used in a variety of exacting civil engineering and industrial applications. Our products can satisfy any specifications required with regular testing ensuring a quality assured product for the customer.

An additional function we offer to ensure a superior quality and consistent product, is to process our aggregates through our "Washing Plant" facility.

Product can also be processed through a pre-coating machine or pug-mill to meet any required material specifications.
